3 Months!

I can't believe Ben is already three months old! He's getting so big. In the bottom picture he's sitting with my favorite stuffed animal when I was little, Floppy.

College Visit

Recently we went to visit Duke and UNC's campuses with Michael and Jeanine. It was a gorgeous day and Ben got to check out two prospective schools.

Griffin & Ben

Ben got to meet another family member - Jeff's cousin Griffin - as he passed through Charlotte while on tour. Ben was bummed he didn't get to go see Griffin's show because he's a big fan of his music. He enjoyed hanging out with him for a few days though. Diaper Change Casualty

Squeaker, the hand-puppet mouse, was hit with a stream of urine during the morning diaper change while attempting to entertain Ben. He should make a full recovery after a visit to the washer & dryer. The bottom picture is of Squeaker and Ben during happier times.

Ben's first trip to Murray

Ben took his first trip this past weekend and visited his family in Murray, KY. It was a long trip (9 hours!) but he did great. He enjoyed meeting and getting to know his mom's family. He also met my friend Emily and her family (including her adorable son Connor!).

9 Weeks

All dressed up with no place to go...

We took Ben to our neighborhood easter egg hunt, but it was cancelled because of bad weather. We were looking forward to it, but I guess we'll have to wait until next year. Instead Mom & Ben took a nap on the couch.
