Fall Break

Ben had a great time during our visit to Florida at the beginning of October with his Fritsche grandparents and his Aunt Anne. He was the center of attention and loved every second of it! He came home with a nice tan and an obsession with Old MacDonald's Farm (he insisted we listen to and sing it hundreds of times during the trip). He also made sure to wake up in the middle of the night every night so someone would take him out of his crib (usually his grandmother Babbie) and snuggle with him.

Here are some pictures from the trip. I apologize for not labeling them, but I think they're pretty self explanatory ("Ben sitting in chair," "Ben sitting on beach," "Ben sitting in the pool," etc. etc.). :)

Pumpkin Patch

For the second year in a row we took Ben and Elise to the pumpkin patch in our neighborhood. Last year they were much more cooperative posing for pictures because they weren't extremely mobile. This year was a different story. They ran all over the place and removed all of the small pumpkins and gourds from the nice displays that had been set up.

Annie K. comes for a visit

The Kuhnhein clan visited Charlotte the first weekend of October. It was so much fun getting to play with Annie. We brought out a lot of Ben and Elise's old gear to make her stay more comfortable. Jeff's birthday was on October 6th and we celebrated with this cake. We thought it was funny that they wrote "2nd and 10" (see below). I was never a cheerleader, but I always thought you were supposed to cheer for "1st and 10."

Ben loves to hug Elise. If she's not in the hugging mood he likes to pull her down and hug her anyway. This is photo #155 for their rehearsal dinner slideshow someday.
