OBX 2010

We visited the Outer Banks in September with the Barlow, Wenstrup and Wilson families. It was a great trip for the adults and the kiddos. It was a bit chaotic at times with 7 toddlers and 2 infants but we all managed to have some fun. We were a little nervous about Hurricane Earl ruining our trip, but the weather was perfect. Here are some pics from the trip.

4th of July

We spent 4th of July weekend in Ft. Thomas.

Trying to beat the heat

During the parade some older kids were playing with squirt guns. Ben wanted to get in on the action but didn't have a squirt gun, so he filled a cup of water. He kept asking me (and the other kids) if it was time to throw the water. He kept telling them "you need some assistance!"

It was finally time...the firemen attacked with their own squirt guns so it was on! Ben poured his water on the street and made it "slippery."

One Year Stats

Kate went for her one-year check-up on June 30th. She weighed in at 20 pounds, 10 ounces (45%) and is 29 1/4" long (50%). She is nice and average! Here is a picture of the happy camper at the pediatrician's office (before getting her shots!)
