Halloween Preview

We had a few people over this weekend to celebrate halloween and Ben and Elise wore their costumes. They make really cute chickens and peapods, don't you think?



I sure do love halloween and dressing up!

It's hard work being a chicken. I needed to rest a little bit during the party.

Sometimes I need lots of items to help me fall asleep for naps. On this particular day it required two blankets, a taggie blanket and Zippy the zebra. Finally I was comfortable enough to go to sleep!

I'm so happy my giraffe, Sophie, has returned. We left her at a restaurant in Florida and they were nice enough to mail her back to me. Not a moment too soon since I am teething and she's the perfect teething toy!

I'm finally big enough to enjoy my chair. Mom moved it to the living room so I have some place to sit.

This sure is comfortable.

Busy Busy Busy!

I haven't had a chance to take many pictures because Ben is constantly on the move, which means I am constantly following him around. Here are a few taken in the past few weeks.

8 Months

Ben turned 8 months on October 1st. While on a walk yesterday, Jeanine and I stopped at a church selling pumpkins to snap these photos of Ben & Elise. Ben is quite sweet to Elise and very protective of her. She doesn't seem to be that interested, however.

Ben's First Beach Trip

We just returned from Florida and Ben's first beach trip. He had a great time and would have spent every minute in the water if we had let him. Here are some pictures from the vacation.

Recently Jae & Karman came over for a lobster boil. They brought me some new shoes that have puppy dogs on them. Although I didn't get any lobster, I still had a fun time!



Don't tell Elise Mae, but I met a cute 6-month old named Sierra. She is a good crawler and has lots of neat toys that I try to steal.

Missing Camera!

We haven't been able to post any pictures lately because our camera is missing. It disappeared Saturday night somewhere between the Wilson household and ours. We live 9 houses apart and we drove (I know, pathetic!) so it surely will turn up soon.

7 Months

Benjamin turned 7 months old on September 1. He's starting to crawl, is teething and generally is just very active. He certainly keeps me busy!

A Weekend of Firsts

This past weekend when we were in Murray, Ben did a bunch of new and fun things.

My great uncle and aunt, Dennis & J.R., took me out for my very first boat ride.

I probably won't remember much of it since I slept most of the time.

Grandpa Steve & Brenda gave me my first rocking horse. I'll probably be better at riding it when my feet touch the ground. But, it sure is fun!

Aunt Debbi took me for a ride in a wagon. I loved it!

I got so excited that I fell asleep!
