First Official Day of Summer

Even though it has felt like summer here for some time, we celebrated the first official day of summer by going to visit our friends Jeff and Alison who live on Lake Norman. Ben really enjoyed the boat ride and doing some swimming in the lake. He particularly enjoyed practicing "driving" the boat.

The night before our big lake trip, we hung out with the Wilsons.

Ben enjoys dancing and clapping along with this dancing Bengals frog. He sings a cleaned up version of "It's Your Birthday" by 50 Cent.

Elise and Ben shared their very first bath. For the most part they seemed to enjoy themselves, but were a little nonplussed when we started styling their hair.
