New Camera!

We finally got a new camera over the weekend and I've been taking lots of pictures to test it out. Here's what's been happening in the Fritsche household.

Ben went to his first Gymboree class.

He enjoyed the bubble portion of the class.

Elise came over to play.

Ben was so happy to see her he gave her a kiss.

Then he proposed marriage. She suggested he wait another 25 years but promised to put the ring in her hope chest.

He showed off for Elise by shooting some baskets.

Watch out Elise - I'm going to dunk on you!

Grammy came to visit this week. Ben was excited to see her!

Memorial Day Weekend

Last weekend the Fritsche clan stayed home and relaxed. We had just returned from a trip to Florida with Pops and Brenda (no pictures from that trip because of the aforementioned broken camera) and just wanted a weekend at home. We did make a trip to a place called the Lazy 5 Ranch, which is a little north of Charlotte and Ben had a blast.

There is a constant battle in our house about who gets the little chair. This time Ben and b.b. decided to share.

Any food in there?

This zebra was definitely one of the more interesting animals we saw. Mostly there were llamas, emus and really fat pot-bellied pigs roaming around.

We couldn't figure out what Ben enjoyed more - seeing the animals or riding in the front of the car. (We were only going 5 mph, by the way!)

Camera Problems

We are having some camera issues so I don't have any new pictures to post! We're hoping to get a new one this weekend, so stay tuned...

One of my favorite ways to pass the time is to gaze out my bedroom window watching people and doggies walk by. This particular photo was taken right after bath time.

I've also enjoyed my second round of swim lessons this spring. Here I am trying to master the backstroke. At my last lesson I did master the art of pooping in my swim diaper and Mommy and Daddy mastered the art of making a discreet exit from the pool before anyone could notice (hopefully!).

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there! I want to especially send my love to my grandmothers, Grammy & Babbie, and my great-grandmothers, Gommy & Audie. I love you!

I also want to wish a Happy Mother's Day to two new moms, Julie & Lesley-ann. Julie gave birth to Anne Charlotte on May 8th and Lesley-ann gave birth to Noah Meikle this morning (May 10th.) I can't wait to meet my new buddies!

My First Golf Tournament

Yesterday I went to the Wachovia Golf Tournament with my mom and my Pops. It was quite fun. I'm considering a career as a professional golfer because, even at my young age, it appears to be a good gig...playing golf every day on a beautiful course, signing autographs and traveling the country (or the world!). Maybe someone will buy some clubs for me so I can start practicing!

I saw quite a few golfers although, unforunately, Tiger Woods isn't participating because of knee surgery. I might have to write him to express my unhappiness that he wasn't present at my first tournament. We did meet Mommy's favorite golfer, Brandt Snedeker. He went to Vanderbilt like my dad and was very nice, as all Southern gentlemen should be.

My Trip to the Low Country

Field Trip

Today I went to the Riverbanks Zoo in Columbia, SC. It was the first time I have spent any quality time in the state of South Carolina, and it was quite enjoyable. Mom and I went with some buddies from my playgroup. Elise Mae also tagged along and ruined any chances I had with the other ladies. Scarlett wouldn't look at me all afternoon!

Mom told me this was a gorilla, but I still think it was just my grandparents' cat, Wickett. They seem to be about the same size and both spend all day eating.

This book about the alphabet is so fascinating! Even though I haven't made it past the inside cover I can tell it's going to be a great read.

Pals

I had a few friends visit me lately. Jackson came from Atlanta and Griffin came from Ft. Thomas to visit me. It was a lot of fun hanging out with them!
